Fudge bownies

Ingredients


½ cup butter (120 gr burro)
2 oz unsweetened chocolate (60 gr cioccolato amaro)
1 cup sugar (200 gr zucchero)
2 eggs (2 uova)
1 tsp vanilla (15 gr vaniglia)
¾ cup flour (150 gr farina)
½ cup nuts (optional) (100 gr nocciole)


Melt butter with chocolate, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Add sugar, beaten eggs, and vanilla, stirring just until combined. Mix in flour and nuts, if using.
Spread batter in greased 8 by 8 inch pan. Bake at 350°F for 30 min. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
